CHARACTER DESIGN

VISUAL STORYTELLING/STORYBOARDING

In collaboration with Chapman Dodge student Tommy Cope, Methods of Inspiration is a hybrid short film that blends live action and 2D animation to explore the creative pressure behind a big pitch. The story follows Walter, an animator racing against a last-minute deadline, who begins to hallucinate a personified version of his internal stress. Though blunt and overbearing, this imagined figure ultimately helps Walter unlock the idea he needs to succeed. I was responsible for the 2D character design and animation, while the live-action elements were directed and produced by Tommy Cope.
