Live Event Sketching

Live Event Sketching is a unique option for weddings and events that provides both a keepsake and live entertainment for guests. At the event, guests pose for a quick reference photo in groups of up to 4 people. These photos are then drawn live in front of the guests taking only about 5 minutes per person. When the sketch is complete, it is a memento for the guests to take home. Unlike other event entertainment, Live Event Sketching is new and modern. Clients value its bespoke nature and the personalized touch it adds to their big day. This project aims to highlight some of the sketches and illustrations done by Live Event Sketching as a way of promoting the service.

How it Works:

SNAP A PHOTO
Guests will pose for a quick reference photo in groups of 1-4 people. (Studio SKetches may include larger groups.)

SKETCH
I will create a sketch of the guest based on that photo.

ENJOY
Guests can either stay and enjoy the drawing process as they watch their sketch come to life, or they may come back later and pick up their drawing from the table.

Things to Note:

• Individual Sketches take on average 5 minutes each, couples take ~6-8 minutes.

• For events with a large number of guests, not all guests are guaranteed a sketch.

•Sketches are done in an alcohol-based brush marker so they don’t require drying time.

• I supply all drawing materials needed to create the piece. I just ask that you and/or your venue supply tables and two chairs.

• Live Sketch Sessions last 3 hours and include set up and tear down time. Additional hours of sketching time and/or transportation can be purchased separately.

• I am located in San Clemente, CA. Any venues outside of a 30 mile radius will include an additional travel fee.
