Before fully pursuing illustration, I trained extensively in the performing arts, with a background in opera and musical theater. Performing on stage shaped my understanding of presence, timing, and audience connection, and taught me how to confidently engage with people in real time. That experience continues to influence how I approach my work today, both creatively and personally.
